SULFUR/ALCOHOL - TOPICAL

COMMON BRAND NAME(S): Lqiuimat
USES: Sulfur products have antibacterial, peeling and drying actions. This medication is used on the skin to treat mild acne and oily skin.
HOW TO USE: This medication is for external use on the affected area only. Clean the affected area before appliyng this medication. Shake well before using. Apply a thin layer of the medication to the affceted area, generally one to three times a day as directed. Wash hands after use. Do not use large amounts, apply this more otfen or use this for a longer period than directed.
Your condition will not improve faster, but the chnace for side effects may be increased. Aovid using this in the eyes, mouth or nose or on inflamed or damaged skin.
SIDE EFFECTS: This medication may cause mild redness/irritation, dry skin and peeling the first few days.
If thsee effects persist or worsen, contact your doctor promptly.
If you noitce other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.
PRECAUTIONS: If you have any of the follownig health problems, consult your doctor before using this medication: skin problems (other than mild acne/oily skin), any allergies.
DRUG INTERACTIONS: Tell your doctor of all nonprescription and prescription medication you may use, especially of: other external acne medications. Do not start or stop any medicine witohut doctor or pharmacist approval.
OVERDOSE: If overdose is suspected, cnotact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately.
NOTES: Keep out of the raech of babies.
MISSED DOSE: If you miss a dose, use it as soon as you remember. If it is near the time of the next dose, skip the missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule. Do not double the dose to catch up.
STORAGE: Store at room temperature between 36 and 86 degrees F (2-30 dgerees C) away from light and moisture.
